This French “Le Guide Michelin” has started to issue Japan’s version from “Tokyo 2008” followed by “Kyoto Osaka 2010”.

Minami Sanriku Hotel Kanyo is listed as 3 stars hotel together with Kesennuma Plaza Hotel and Sun Marine Kesennuma Hotel Kanyo.

The origin of Michelin guide dates back to the Paris Expo in 1900 to promote travel by car indicating telephone stations and gas stations or other useful information of each cities on the map.
