Shotaro Ishinomori who is noted as the "King of Manga" in Japan was born in 1938 in a very rural area of Tome City where he was influenced by the surrounding nature to develop his sensibility until the senior high school.
The museum has been open in 2000 to be proud of the great writer who connects past and future in his manga next to the house where he was born.
